It’s true. Apple has confirmed that Snow Leopard will be shipping early.
Mac OS X 10.6, which is also known as Snow Leopard will be shipping even earlier than expected. The new release date is set for August 28. You can then expect to find the latest OS in Apple stores and through Apple resellers. The online Apple store is already taking pre-orders and with an upgrade priced at just $29, it is going to be great value.
The upgrade from 10.5 will cost $29, the Snow Leopard family pack $49 and the upgrade from Intel based Tiger will cost $169.
So get ready for the release this friday.
